Our in-person Mat Pilates & Sculpt training gives you everything you need to teach thoughtful, effective classesβ€”while deepening your understanding of your own body.

Led by senior FHYS instructors Ali Grzyb, Michelle Bass, and Lindsay Pearceβ€”who bring over 40 years of combined experience in yoga and fitnessβ€”this program thoughtfully weaves together their depth of knowledge, hands-on teaching experience, and insights from special guest instructors and presenters.

Expect a comprehensive, inspiring training that will empower you to practice, teach, and lead strong, impactful Pilates and Sculpt classes.

What Sets Us Apart?

As a unique training and the first in our area to combine Mat Pilates and Sculpt, we are the leaders in helping students and new or experienced movement professionals gain this knowledge for their teaching and practice experience.

Who Is This For?

This training is for anyone, including brand new and experienced yoga teachers & fitness instructors and also students that want to better understand their bodies and the movements. It will help yoga teachers better understand core strength anatomy, develop creativity in their classes and be able to lead pilates and sculpt classes.Β  It will help students that are new to teaching fitness learn to teach pilates & sculpt classes while understanding how the body moves safely and effectively.Β  It will help students that want to learn but do not wish to teach gain a tremendous amount of knowledge about moving their bodies safely and efficiently.

  • Thursday, October 1st: 5:30pm – 9:00pm
  • Friday, October 2nd: 11:30am – 6:30pm
  • Saturday, October 3rd: 11:30am – 6:30pm
  • Sunday, October 4th: 11:30am – 6:30pm
  • Friday, October 16th: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Saturday, October 17th: 11:30am – 4:30pm

Facilitators:

Lindsay Pearce

Lindsay is a senior yoga and lead sculpt instructor at FHYS with over 500 hours of training and 10 years of teaching experience. She has previously co-facilitated FHYS Power Yoga Teacher Trainings alongside Alison Grzyb. Lindsay discovered her love for yoga and fitness as a college swimmer and neurobiology student at Drew University, and that passion has grown into a deep commitment to teaching and mentoring yoga and sculpt instructors. As a sculpt director in this training, she is dedicated to helping teachers lead dynamic classes, find their voice, and have fun along the way. Lindsay is truly grateful to do what she loves while supporting others in doing the same.

Michelle Bass

Michelle is a senior yoga and Pilates teacher at Far Hills Yoga & Sculpt with over 1,000 hours of training over the past 16 years. Michelle has a graduate degree in education from John Carroll University and an undergraduate degree in English and writing from The University of Dayton. She taught high school English and elementary school yoga and Science before transitioning to teaching yoga full time in 2015. Currently, Michelle teaches multiple group classes and private lessons weekly. She is grateful to have made a career out of her passion for fitness and community.

Alison Grzyb

Ali Grzyb is the owner of Far Hills Yoga & Sculpt and is a 650 hour certified yoga instructor with specialty training in working with athletes and teaching pilates. Ali has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a Masters degree in Psychology from Indiana University and has been studying the mind and body for over 20 years. Ali leads yoga and pilates classes at FHYS, coaches HS, college and professional athletes and teaches leadership tools to navigate a career in fitness and all endeavors in life.

Training Program Cost and Fees

  • $1,775 – Early bird discount if pay in full before 08.01.2026
  • $1,875 – Full Tuition after 10.01.2026
  • $150 deposit to reserve your spot
